Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 25, 2025
1. Who We Are
VaultLane ("we", "us", "our") is a stablecoin finance operations platform operated at vaultlane.net. We help crypto-native businesses track inbound payments, issue invoices, manage contractor payouts, and reconcile on-chain transactions.
For privacy-related questions, contact us at support@vaultlane.net.
2. Information We Collect
Account information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and a hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.
Workspace data: Information you enter into the platform — wallet addresses, invoice details, counterparty names and emails, payout records, and notes. This data belongs to you.
Blockchain data: We read publicly available on-chain transaction data from TRON and Ethereum networks for wallets you register. We do not access private keys at any point.
Usage data: We collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps for security and debugging purposes.
Communications: If you contact support, we store the content of your message and any replies.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the VaultLane platform
- To send transactional emails (invoice alerts, payment confirmations, overdue reminders)
- To authenticate you and protect your account
- To respond to support requests
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Neon (cloud-hosted in the United States). All connections use TLS encryption in transit. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt.
We use industry-standard security measures including rate limiting, HMAC-signed webhooks, and security headers (CSP, HSTS, X-Frame-Options). However, no system is 100% secure. Please use a strong, unique password for your account.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate VaultLane:
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Vercel — application hosting and edge network
- Neon — PostgreSQL database hosting
- Railway — background worker hosting (BullMQ)
- TronGrid — TRON blockchain data
- Alchemy / Moralis — Ethereum blockchain data
- Anthropic (Claude) — AI-assisted reconciliation suggestions
When you use AI reconciliation, transaction and invoice metadata is sent to Anthropic's API to generate matching suggestions. No personally identifying information beyond amounts and wallet addresses is included in these requests.
6. Wallet Addresses and Blockchain Data
Blockchain addresses and transaction data are publicly available on-chain. VaultLane reads this data to populate your dashboard. We do not have access to private keys, seed phrases, or the ability to move funds. Registering a wallet address in VaultLane does not grant us any control over it.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data and workspace data are permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days. Aggregate or anonymized data may be retained for analytics purposes.
8. Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Export your data in a machine-readable format
- Object to or restrict processing of your data
You can export or delete your account data directly from Dashboard → Settings → Account. For other requests, contact support@vaultlane.net.
9. Cookies
We use essential cookies for session management and authentication. We use a preference cookie (locale_pref) to remember your language preference. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. A cookie consent banner is shown on your first visit.
10. Children
VaultLane is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify you by email. Continued use of VaultLane after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
